Add a credit card to Jarby

1. Connect the bank that issues the card

A credit card reaches Jarby through the bank that issues it. Open Settings › Connections and tap + Connect new. On a computer you can also use + Connect another bank in the sidebar. Finish the bank's steps in the window that opens.

If the bank is already connected and the card is missing, use Add accounts on the bank's card. Add more accounts from the same bank shows where to find it on a phone.

2. Find the card

Open Settings › Accounts. On a phone, tap More and then Accounts. Your card is listed under Credit cards. On the card's row, tap the gear button labelled Account settings.

3. Choose the card product

In the ACCOUNT section, find the Card product row. It shows Not set until you choose a product.

• On a computer, a list opens under the row.
• On a phone, a sheet titled Card product opens.

Type in Search cards… and tap your card. If your card is not in the list, choose Not listed (generic). Jarby then tracks no rewards for that card.

The row is locked while the card list loads or a recount is running. Wait for it to finish, then try again.

4. Link the rewards program

Under REWARDS, the Program account row links the card to a points program. Pick the program from the list. If the card's row says Not linked to a rewards program, tap Link to link it to a matching program account. If there is no match, the row offers Create & link, which makes a new program account and links it to the card.

What happens next

Once a card has a card product, its purchases count toward Rewards. Until then, the Rewards page asks you to link your cards to a card product. To see how the figures are worked out, read How rewards are counted.
